sand, snail, and wood (depth of field)


Depth of field (DOF) is a measure of how far the field of focus in the photograph, narrow DOF means only part of the object at any given point sharp while the rest will blur / out of focus. by using a large aperture which makes objects in the snail and wood has a sharp focus while the sand is blurred, the DOF concept is often used for macro photography
