Tuanku Imam Bonjol Museum and Monument

who is Tuanku Imam Bonjol not need
to explain much. all already know
he is one of national heroes. of course
we all know or at least have heard
Padri War. War lead by Tuanaku Imam
Bonjol at Bonjol area dixtrict, Pasaman,
West Sumatera. Tuanku Imam Bonjol or
also known as Peto Sharif calls succesfully
foster a spirit of resistance against
the Netherlands in 1821-1827.

in the building became a museum

Padri war was a war that took place
equator monument
in West Sumatera and the surroungding 
region, espesially in the kingdom Pagaruyung
from 1803 - 1838. War was a war that
was originally due to opesition in the before
it turns into a battle against the ocupation.
Padri war began with the rise of clerecial group
dubbed as the Padri against rampant habits
conducted by the society called the indigenious
tribe in the kingdom Pagaruyung and surrounding 
areas. habit like gambling, use opium as well lax 
enforcementof formal ritual obligation of islam. 
the absence of an agreement that when 
indigenious tribe has embrace islam to leave the 
habit angered the Padri, so that the war
broke out in 1803
